The leaders behind Queership are best friends, confidants and queer husband and wife team - Yaz A. (He/Him) and Beck P. (She/Her). Grounded in non-judgement, the couple brings the vastness of their experience and their combined expert soft skills to help queers and allies reach short and long term goals through career and life coaching, free assistance aligning government-issued documents to name and gender in the Washington DC Metro area, and free help completing immigration forms.

Hey Y’all! I’m Beck - a Queer Black trans woman from southern Virginia. Community and curiosity have always been my guiding force – leading me to travel, study and live in three countries before the age of 25. I’m a dynamic, resilient survivor with a background in psychology that aims to brighten the days of all I interact with. The freedom I feel from embracing my transness and beginning this journey back to myself, has been one filled with high highs, loss and excitement but I haven’t looked back since. Leading with empathy always - I love to connect with others, develop recipes for my upcoming cookbook and indulge in all the delicious joys of life!
